Johnnie DO is one of Europe's best and most professional motorcycle stuntriders who produces breathtaking, daring and sensational stunts before packed audiences in shows all over the world.
Johnnie was born in 1984 in the Netherlands. At the age of 16 his passion for motorcycles began in earnest when he bought a scooter and discovered that he could do much more with it than just ride it on two wheels…He quickly progressed from this little scooter to an 80cc geared moped which got him a step closer to his dream of stunting a full size sports bike.
Pursuing his dream with determination, Johnnie trained hard for 6 months before entering his first competition ever, the Dutch Open Stunt-riding Championship 2004.
A complete unknown at the beginning of the competition, Johnnie blew away the competition and emerged as the No.1 Dutch stunt rider.
One of the judges, former World Champion AC Farias complemented Johnnie on his remarkable talent adding that with a big sport bike his chances of progress to the top would improve significantly. This really motivated Johnnie to follow his dreams of becoming a professional motorcycle stunt-rider!
After months of hard work Johnnie could eventually buy a ’93 Honda CBR600 and make his first steps in the world of professional stunt-riders. And it paid off; after just five weeks of training on his new bike Johnnie again surprised everybody at the 2005 Dutch Open Stunt-riding Championship by taking the 2nd place just behind a professional Belgian rider.
Johnnie was still the best Dutch stunt-rider, only now on a big bike!
With the sport capturing the imagination of a rapidly growing public Johnnie was performing for ever-increasing audiences and fast becoming a star in the stunt-riding circuit. Johnnie’s rapid gain in popularity permitted him to obtain various equipment sponsorship deals including a new Honda CBR600RR from Ten Kate Honda.
The old Honda just could not keep up with Johnnie’s phenomenal progress and the new bike finally gave him what he needed to compete on an equal footing with Europe’s top stunt-riders!
Johnnie once again proved that he was amongst the best in the world by finishing fourth in the 2006 European Stunt-riding Championship.
What started as a hobby four years ago has rapidly turned into a profession. Demands for Johnnie’s shows are in constant progression and he is now a regular feature at many European motorcycling events including the most visited bike shows, WSBK and MotoGP in Assen.
